Domus Sacra (liet. Šventieji namai) - an upcoming photography series documenting forests and the impact of today's human activity on them. As ecosystems are being destroyed, the growing awareness of humanity’s path of androcentric, never-ending conflicts and self-destruction invites us to seek inspiration in the ancient memory of Old Europe's matristic societies.
In Lithuania, a deep connection with forests remains strong to this day, reflecting a cultural heritage rooted in ancient Baltic spiritual traditions, where nature was regarded as sacred and deeply connected to human life.
