Domus Sacra (liet. Šventieji namai) - an upcoming photography series documents forests and the impact of human activity on them today. As ecosystems face destruction, growing awareness of humanity’s path of an androcentric society, powered by endless conflicts and self-destruction encourages finding inspiration in the ancient memory of Old Europe's matristic communities.
In Lithuania, a deep connection with forests remains strong to this day, reflecting a cultural heritage rooted in ancient Baltic spiritual traditions, where nature was regarded as sacred and deeply connected to human life.
